Physics by Slot Cars!
"I Betcha" development is running smoothly!
With a game concept decided, Muzzy Lane's designers are working to build the story, game play functions and game world for the latest installment in the ClearLab Project. "I Betcha" will have students racing table-top slot cars to become the best racer in the school!
"I Betcha" is a physics simulator in which students must master slot car racing using weight, acceleration, speed and a wide variety of physics tools at their disposal. In order to race, players must be able to estimate the proper speed and trajectories in order to successfully round turns, make jumps and be first to the finish line.
Because kids master game controls so well, the game play in "I Betcha" will require the player to conduct physics equations and estimates. Students will master physics by mastering the game. As they learn how force, acceleration and direction work, they will be allowed to "fail fantastically" with exciting explosions and collisions.
As "I Betcha" continues to be developed, we will continue to post any updates on the game's story and play functions.
